Gou Ji Mu Gua Tang

An empirically proven formula for cervical spondylosis with bone hyperplasia.

• Wu Shao She (Black Striped Snake): 30g
• Wei Ling Xian (Clematis Root): 25g
• Su Mu (Sappanwood), Dan Shen (Salvia Miltiorrhiza), Qin Jiao (Largeleaf Gentian Root), Bu Gu Zhi (Psoralea Fruit), Ge Gen (Pueraria Root), Gou Ji (Cibotium Rhizome): 20g each
• Dang Gui (Angelica Sinensis Root), Mu Gua (Chaenomeles Fruit): 15g each

One dose daily, divided into three warm administrations. Seven days constitute one course of treatment.

Bi Xie Fen Qing Yin Experiential Formula

An empirically proven formula for chronic prostatitis.

• Bi Xie (Rhizoma Dioscoreae Hypoglaucae)
• Yi Zhi Ren (Alpinia Oxyphylla Fruit)
• Shi Chang Pu (Acorus Tatarinowii Rhizome)
• Gan Cao (Licorice Root)
• Fu Ling (Poria)
• Ji Nei Jin (Chicken Gizzard-lining)
• Jin Qian Cao (Lysimachia)
• Bai Mao Gen (Imperata Rhizome)
• Chi Fu Ling (Red Poria)
• Zhi Zi (Gardenia Fruit)
• Che Qian Zi (Plantago Seed) (Dosages to be determined by the practitioner)

Modifications:

• For hematospermia, add Huang Bai (Phellodendron Bark) and Di Yu (Sanguisorba Root).
• For frequent and urgent urination, and sore lower back and knees, add Wu Yao (Lindera Root).
• For impotence, premature ejaculation, and seminal emission, add Du Zhong (Eucommia Bark) and Ba Ji Tian (Morinda Officinalis Root).
